Union Church Community Hall - Jay Robbins, Executive Director of the Lincoln County Historical Association will present an illustrated talk on the history of the county which celebrates its 250th anniversary this year.

SATURDAY June 26
7:30 pm

S Road School - An eagerly awaited event, the formal opening and dedication of the newly restored S Road School, will take place on the school grounds.

THURSDAY July 15

7:30 pm Union Church Community Hall - Annual Meeting 7:30 pm - Stan Wells, will present "Meet Sam Miles and Family," an intriguing look at the life and career of one of South Bristol's most unusual residents.

THURSDAY August 19
10 am-3 pm

HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS TOUR - Connect the words of Lanny Warner's book A History of the Families and their Houses to actual residences and buildings! This first Highlights tour will be limited to the area in and around Clark's Cove, Ridge Road and nearby Route 129; at some locations visitors may go inside, others will be outside-only access, but the unique history of each site will be provided.

Union Church Community Hall - "The Scots Irish on the Bristol Peninsula" Local historian Chip Griffin will share his knowledge of life on the Bristol Peninsula 250 years ago and the on-going influence of the Scots-Irish who settled there.

THURSDAY October 14
7:30 pm.

Union Church Community Hall - "What's in YOUR attic?" A chance for everyone to bring the old postcards, family photos, hotel brochures, Native American artifacts, decorative items found in your attic - or elsewhere - to share with everyone and perhaps get help identifying people and places.
